Kurenai Shi Rules
Read the rules because if you're banned, it's not our fault you didn't read them. Your account is in our hands, not yours. So get used to it or don't sign up. Simple as that.
1 Do not SPAM! Don't double post. We have a modify post button. Use that!
2 Do not steal other peoples writings or artwork. Credit them if you use their avatars or signatures. If I get any complaints from someone that you stole something, I'll delete it from your sig or avatar. If you put it back, I'll ban you. Most of our roleplayers here are graphics and fanartists here as well. WE ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TOLERATE STEALING!
3 Stay in character except when posting in OOC Discussion boards or in the Kurenai Shi Government boards!
4 - Keep to your character application! So, act as your character would towards other characters. If you're playing an anime character, stay in character. Yuki Sohma of Fruits Basket would not beat up Tohru Honda. Kyo of Samurai Deeper Kyo would not be a passionate ladies man trying to make all the women fall in love with him. If you make a character personality because it's an original character, keep them in character. If you say your character is calm, well then don't post him as a psychotic sugar rush kid.
5 - There's no changing your character unless all the admins and moderators agree to it! So make sure you're happy with what you've put on the application before you turn it in. You also can't kill your character if you're unhappy with him/her. We will accept a deletion of an account due to time constraint, irl difficulties, so on. Stuff we, Kurenai Shi have no control over and only affects your abilty to roleplay here with us.
6 Keep obscenities to a low roar when in character. A couple 'damns' and 'shits' are okay if your character is an offensive yakuza thugs but if I hear the 'f' word coming out of a loli-shota character, I think it's uncalled for.
7 If someone offends you on the site, as tempting as it may be, please do not write offensive messages back but report them to the moderator. Please bear in mind that intercharacter relations may mean that some characters would offend each other, but swearing or abuse OOC (out of character) should be immediately reported.
8 - We're aware that you're anxious to get started but bragging about how great your character is puts people off. Save the bragging for a forum that cares because we don't care that much and will just ignore you.
9 - There will be no abuse in the chat box. If you're spamming it up, abusing people, cursing, or advertising, you will be banned. Chatting about characters and strategy is fine but don't put other people's characters down just because you can. People worked hard on their characters, just as much or if not more than you, so don't abuse the privilege of the chat box or you'll be banned from it and the forum.
10 Please try to keep spelling and grammar accurate, although you will not be penalized for not doing so.
11 No one-liner replies!
These have been altered a bit but most of the rules are credited to FuruBasket RPG Forums.
