With the month er month and half hiatus or so we had. I had a bit of inspiration last night. We have almost 7,000 posts and 130 members that I can't look away from. Being that Kurenai Shi is the eldest child, we can't just ignore it but, if most members complain that they're lacking creativity because Kurenai Shi itself lacks fun or realistic things. I'm compelled to change things. Keep in mind. You may need to change your characters or make new ones after the reopening of Kurenai Shi.
I've changed a number of things to reopen KS. The districts are presumed now to be a bit more close knit. It's less of a competition to be the "better" and "popular" district. Now, there are only two schools. Omoshi is the public school. Saifu is the private one. And that's it. About schools. We'll have no more of people living in a district and not going to school there. School populations might suffer because of it. If you live in Nishi, guess what? You're going to Omoshi. If you're rich enough to go to Saifu... then live in Higashi. Now, Kita and Minami kids are special, because they live in sending districts. Kita-kids (which will be very few because they're military brats) will attend Saifu. Minami kids will be going to Omoshi. It's fair considering.
Considering I've taken 2 of the 4 schools out of the equation, we'll have more teachers teaching more classes and will have more time on their hands. About teachers, if they're younger than 22, they're not teachers. They've gotta be something else. Teachers have to at least have a bachelor's degree. So make teachers 22 years old and up.
The other issue would be those considered to be "magical characters". We'll have no more random characters just using their powers in public. Too many, these magical powers are a bit like god moding which any magic spell or alien technology can do whatever your little heart desires when playing to get out of a situation. And it gets retarded after awhile. If you don't have a human form, get one. If they have to use magical powers make sure you have a DAMN good reason or the police will take your character to the funny farm.
Like I've said, you may have to edit your character profiles and that's fine. If you can't edit your profiles to fit the rp. You may delete it and the account and make a new one, if you feel the need and want to. This is the ONLY way I could make Kurenai Shi fun again for the old members. I didn't want to throw everything away and I didn't. All of the old threads are safely tucked away in the old threads board. We'll be starting from Day 1 all over again on Thursday. We'll start having events again from Day 3 onwards. Wipe your love hate icons from your profiles. All relationships will be cleared since we're starting over.
